Business support community
Joining the dots
Novel’s peer network joins the dots of the region’s business community by encouraging SMEs to partner, trade and invest in to each other. At the heart of our model is a belief that public sector investment should be leveraging directly by the SME community locally.
How does it work?
Novel mobilises innovative high growth business leaders and provides an opportunity for public authorities to work directly with them to design and deliver high impact interventions.
We translate economic aims and objectives and align them with real world businesses and growth opportunities. We leverage our collective expertise digital innovation, and geographically-specific information, helping integrate business insights into policy development.
Focused sessions between our peer businesses have identified obstacles to growing SME productivity, regional opportunities and key strengths.
The network is designed to improve the experience of finding business support, embedding devolution and innovation principles and hardwiring a voice for businesses with policymakers, whilst sharing valuable insights with government.
Our insights strengthen productivity growth for businesses by providing targeted support, access to resources and a collective voice, with a focus on cohesive, targeted support for businesses to start, scale and grow.
It is a vibrant community based on strong communication, collaboration and generosity, sharing practical case studies of effective change and innovation.
